We have space! A huge thank you to the folks over at Rise who have stepped up to offer space for our next meet-up! We will be meeting at Rise offices in the Guinness Building, 1200–1055 West Hastings St on May 25, starting at 4pm. After a half-hour of networking, the actual HUG will start at 4:30 and go until 6pm.

The meeting will be facilitated by HUG Vancouver co-leader Paula Skaper and focused on strategies for keeping up with the constant demand for fresh content.

Please register now so that we can organize refreshments.

The Guiness Building has metered on-street parking and several underground parkades nearby. Access to the 12th floor requires key access after 5 pm.

Mark Your Calendars for June

The June meeting is tentatively scheduled for June 21 at the same time, and will focus on what some are calling Growth-Driven Design (GDD). Co-leader Stephan Burkhardt will give us an overview of this new methodology for developing websites by focusing on the parts of a business that produce the most revenue (thus "growth-driven") and relying on customer data and testing. It is faster to revenue, more flexible, and absorbs less time for the management and marketing teams involved.

A number of HubSpot customers and partners are adopting this approach, which works great using the software due to its myriad ways of testing and its deep analytics. GDD can also be used with other Content Management Systems such as Wordpress, though it's not as easy to implement and run. Find out from other HubSpot users how this might work for your next website re-deign.

We look forward to seeing you at one of our upcoming meetups and are excited to finally have a convenient and large enough space to accommodate everyone.
